Another Little Christmas Quilt Finish

This is another little Christmas quilt that I finished and have already given it as a gift.  The half square triangles finish at 1 1/2".  The fabrics are from Share the Joy by Deb Strain for Moda.

I used a method of making 1 1/2" half square triangles from charm squares that you have probably seen before.  The tutorial can be found in my post here.  It is also linked on my side bar under Tutorials and Patterns.

The little quilt measures approximately 14".  I machine quilted a simple grid across both directions and used the #4 stitch on my Bernina to quilt the border.

There hasn't been a lot of sewing going on here this week.  I am getting ready to head out early this week to Shipshewana for the Dear Jane retreat.  I plan to take lots of photos and post while I'm there.

I am thankful for all of those that have served and are currently serving in the military.
Happy Veterans Day to you.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit!
