Abundance Quilt Progress

I've been hand quilting on my Abundance quilt the last few evenings.  This is a 12" doll quilt that I made from a quilt along with Lori over at Humble Quilts.  My colors are different from Lori's, but I  wanted to use some of my pink and brown fabrics.  I'm about half done with the hand quilting.  I'm not great at it, but I really enjoy it.  This is the binding that I've temporarily cut.  I may change my mind about it after I'm finished quilting, but for right now this is what I've chosen.  Any suggestions?

This was a fun quilt along made from my stash, and I'm linking up over at Lori's blog.

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. I'm not sure why, but on Lori's QALs it seems most of us stick to her colors. Maybe it is the attempt to replicate the original, vintage quilt. Whatever the reason, it always makes it fun to see those who were brave enough to venture into their own color scheme. Looks very nice, LuAnn--and so does your quilting!
