Fussy Cut Friday Stars

It's another Fussy Cut Friday over at Temecula Quilt Company blog.  Sheryl is having a year long sew along where we make one 6 pointed star each week.

It's a mystery really because we won't know how these stars will be set together until the end of the sew along.

The stars are 2 inches on a side.  My quilt will be scrappy, and I love making these fussy cut stars.

I hope you are finding some time to stitch today.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

  10. YOur stars are simply stunning! I like that pink template you're using, where did you get that or did you make it? I have the one where you can only trace on the outside, but an inside stitching line would be helpful.

  11. Awesome! How do you choose your fabrics to create such wonderful compositions? how do you know the picture, flower, star you are going to get in the centre?

    Do you need special fabric?

I think I can't do such things with the fabric I have

  18. Hi LuAnn,

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog. I finished four more DJ blocks that I have to blog about. Your DJ is beautiful and so are the rest of your quilts. I have to say, though, as someone who can't even manage to keep one blog up to date, I am in even more AWE of you maintaining FOUR blogs, all with recent postings and terrific content. WOW!!! I tip my hat to you.

    Sincerely,
    Susan in Texas
