I have been wanting to go to there again, so I really enjoyed seeing Yoder's, Lolly's, and JoJo's. The photo of Yoder's shows a red and gray quilt their staff designed a couple of years ago when the store was featured in a magazine. I made one from a kit they were selling. There is a nice little quilt shop in Middlebury, and a great restaurant as well.Linda Ennekinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03429779840581804396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5484254857238719582.post-85467841583511103502019-05-14T15:55:49.797-04:002019-05-14T15:55:49.797-04:00one day I would like to go to the retreat at Ships...one day I would like to go to the retreat at Shipshewana but until then I will have to satisfy myself looking and reading of those that go!Karen - Quilts...etc.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07293429657903986492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5484254857238719582.post-47274076228756689562019-05-09T16:30:12.291-04:002019-05-09T16:30:12.291-04:00Those tiny baskets are so dear - and you are off a...Those tiny baskets are so dear - and you are off and running on your own!! Wish I lived close enough. I have been there one time and just for a look around and a trip to Lolly's. Looks like a quilter could go broke playing in fabric! Like the Circa 1800 blocks!
Hope you did have a great birthday! I sent a card - hope you got it! They will make a really fun quilt no matter how you put them together.
And you are doing the Circa 1880! I'm glad to hear it.
It is always a thrill to see more of your fussy-cut hexies. You do such a nice job of fabric selection and placement. These are no exception.Janet O.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05083607398709252597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5484254857238719582.post-15330008875056903322019-05-08T19:42:59.738-04:002019-05-08T19:42:59.738-04:00The retreat is such a fun time, so nice to see eve...The retreat is such a fun time, so nice to see everyone again. I enjoy seeing all your projects in progress, they all so lovely. Are you working on the mission challenge quilt too with the thousands of 1" finished HST's? Enjoy spring!Gretchen Weaverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11163051875559827310noreply@blogger.com
