Loose Threads: CROCHETED BAG

Monday, July 5, 2010

We've enjoyed barbecues, playing cards, visiting, and watching fireworks with family and friends for Independence Day. This is the progress that I've made on the crocheted bag that I started earlier.

You can find this pattern on Attic 24's blog. The bag is done in double crochet and works up pretty quickly. I've just learned to knit in the last 15 years or so, but I've crocheted since I was very young. Lately I've mostly been knitting, but once in awhile I get the urge to crochet, and this bag has been fun to do. There may be more crochet in my future. And, there will always be quilting. Hope you are having a good July 4th holiday and finding some time to stitch.

Nice bag! I used to crochet a lot, but never could knit anything but a straight piece. And that was done with one needle sticking in my mid-section.
