Quilt Show Shopping

There were lots of vendors at the Indiana Heritage Quilt Show. I bought a few things but decided I should pace myself since I have a couple more quilting adventures planned for this spring.

I bought a few pieces of Kaffe and Brandon.

This group is for the shabby chic phase that I feel coming on and because I thought they were pretty.

This flannel charm pack will be perfect for a baby quilt.

And I bought a couple of patterns. The sample of the feathered star made the pattern hard to resist. I love the Schnibbles baskets.

I'm still sewing....and sewing on Orca Bay, this years Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt.  I hope to have photos soon.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Your remark about the shabby chic phase made me laugh. I have been buying pink fabric like crazy...never liked it, as I love blue and lavender.

    blessings, jilly

  2. nice shopping. that brown fabric with blue dots is absolutely unresistable. I love them all

  3. I wish I could feel phases "coming on". Maybe then I could be prepared for them. : )
You've found some fun and lovely fabrics.
Wow, that is going to be a little feathered star! Good luck with that!!
Looking forward to seeing your finish on Orca Bay!

  4. Congratulations! It is hard to pace yourself when there are so many "carrots" dangling in front of you....good choices on buys, too

  5. Looks like it was a very fun shopping trip! I love your selections.
    Thanks for sharing!

  6. Hi LuAnn,
I like your quilt show souveniers, yummi ☺ Have fun!
    Liebe Grüße

  7. Lovely fabric choices LuAnn; I especially {heart} those big dahlia-like flowers one..Julierose

  8. LuAnn, I made that feathered star block. I'll bring it to Shipshewana next month. I can't figure out how to quilt the darn thing.

I also got that pattern from Yoder's that we talked about. The basket quilt with the applique that was hanging there last fall.

See you next month, I can't wait!

  9. I love the purchases for the coming phases. There's nothing like a bit of quilt show shopping to get the creative juices flowing. Thanks for the pics of the quilts on your last post , I enjoyed looking at them.

  10. Congrats! I am super behind on blog reading and just now found your wonderful quilt on the sew we sew banner !!! Yay for you!

  11. Your tastes are like mine....all over the place! LOL. I love the bright and wild, but also the more traditional. Love your purchases!

  12. I love you fabrics. very nice colors!

  13. I did that feathered star too -- and I have a new one to do. They recently put out the foundations for a 6" one!! Just my cup of tea.

  14. Great fabric. I love the flannel charm pack. I can see why you couldn't resist.

  15. Very nice fabric! A warm up to your spring quilting adventures.
