There were lots of vendors at the Indiana Heritage Quilt Show. I bought a few things but decided I should pace myself since I have a couple more quilting adventures planned for this spring.
I bought a few pieces of Kaffe and Brandon.
This group is for the shabby chic phase that I feel coming on and because I thought they were pretty.

And I bought a couple of patterns. The sample of the feathered star made the pattern hard to resist. I love the Schnibbles baskets.
Treasures! What fun!
ReplyDeleteYour remark about the shabby chic phase made me laugh. I have been buying pink fabric like crazy...never liked it, as I love blue and lavender.
ReplyDeleteblessings, jilly
nice shopping. that brown fabric with blue dots is absolutely unresistable. I love them all
ReplyDeleteI wish I could feel phases "coming on". Maybe then I could be prepared for them. : )
ReplyDeleteYou've found some fun and lovely fabrics.
Wow, that is going to be a little feathered star! Good luck with that!!
Looking forward to seeing your finish on Orca Bay!
Congratulations! It is hard to pace yourself when there are so many "carrots" dangling in front of you....good choices on buys, too
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was a very fun shopping trip! I love your selections.

Lovely fabric choices LuAnn; I especially {heart} those big dahlia-like flowers one..Julierose
ReplyDeleteLuAnn, I made that feathered star block. I'll bring it to Shipshewana next month. I can't figure out how to quilt the darn thing.
ReplyDeleteI also got that pattern from Yoder's that we talked about. The basket quilt with the applique that was hanging there last fall.
See you next month, I can't wait!
Cindy
I love the purchases for the coming phases. There's nothing like a bit of quilt show shopping to get the creative juices flowing. Thanks for the pics of the quilts on your last post , I enjoyed looking at them.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I am super behind on blog reading and just now found your wonderful quilt on the sew we sew banner !!! Yay for you!
ReplyDeleteYour tastes are like mine....all over the place! LOL. I love the bright and wild, but also the more traditional. Love your purchases!
