I've done a bit of quilting the past few days, but mostly I've been working on this shell afghan. It works up quickly, is easy to do, and it's fun. The pattern is on my crochet blog, and sometime tomorrow I'll post a tutorial there, too.
If you are in the US, I hope you joined me in voting today. I'm going to watch the outcome of the election tonight while I work more on my afghan.

ReplyDeleteWe took advantage of early voting. Love crochet.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I am glad you are going to post a tute. I will have to add it to my list to make. For some reason I have been feeling the urge to make things with yarn. The weather has changed and it has started to get quite cool.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice crochet project. I looked at tha pattern and it looks fairly easy to do, I guess I have to put that one on my to-do list.

What a beautiful afghan! Just love the pattern you chose.
ReplyDeleteLove your afgan! Bet it's really comfy cozy when you're snuggled in it. Congrats on casting your vote. I got out of bed at 3am (Scotland time) to watch your election results come in. Not much sewing happening today.. I'm still pie eyed from lack of sleep! ;o)
ReplyDeleteThat afghan is just lovely!
ReplyDeleteMakes me want to find the crochet hooks that are around here somewhere and buy yarn!
Afghan is so colorful and beautiful...I really should expand my child-like crocheting skills...I can barely chain stitch and do consistent treble stitches, LOL! Your fall decorating has been so pretty to see!
ReplyDeleteIn stitches,
Teresa :o)
Thanks for the tutorial of the shell afghan. Yours turned out very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI voted and it only took about 10 minutes. See you next week!
