Shipshewana, Indiana, is a destination for a lot of people traveling through the midwest part of the United States. It is in the middle of Amish country and is like taking a step back in time. The pace there seems slower than in the city, and it just a wonderful place to visit.
This is the Lang Store. This photo shows a small part of the quilts that are for sale. There are also a lot of gift items in the store. They also have beautiful Christmas cards and note cards.

This is a small sitting area in the back of the Pumpkin Vine, a little soup and sandwich shop where we had lunch.
Christmas decorations outside the Craft Barn located across the street from the Blue Gate.
You make me want to *live* there! I miss the Midwest, its cultures, and its architecture!
