Ohio Collection Quilt Update

I'm still in Shipshewana at our quilt retreat, and I've done a bit of stitching.

Here are my latest Ohio Collection blocks. This shoe with flowers was designed by Karen at Log Cabin Quilter blog. I appreciate Karen sharing her patterns with me. The red on my flowers bled some so I have to work on that when I get home.
This is Star and Princess Feather from Anita Shackleford's Ohio Colkection book.  Both blocks are hand appliquéd.

Br sure to visit the other bloggers that are working on their version of this quilt:
Karen -Log Cabin Quilter
Lori - Humble Quilts
Nancy -  Tattered Garden
Cathy - Big Lake Quilter

I've also finished two more 3/4" hexagons.

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope you are finding some time to stitch today.

  1. The shoe block has been popular with many people leaving comments on my blog. Yours turned out cuter as can be. You did well on the princess feather. Curves so smooth!

  10. I think I might move closer to where the "real" quilters live. (LOL) You ladies just have tooooo much fun.

The Ohio Collection looks like a fun project - all blocks are different techniques.

I am so far behind that maybe one day I could put this one on my list.
Enjoying reading your Blog and the other ladies who are participating in the Ohio Collection
